Quite a mix of witnesses for domestic-abuse meeting

The Legislature’s interim committee studying South Dakota’s domestic abuse laws has an interesting lineup of witnesses scheduled for today’s meeting that begins at 10 a.m. CDT at the state Capitol:

Hollie Strand, Children’s Advocacy Center of the Black Hills;

Yankton police chief Brian Paulson;

Krista Heeren-Graber, South Dakota Network;

Pennington County state’s attorney Mark Vargo;

Beadle County state’s attorney Michael Moore; and, after the 12:30-1:30 p.m. lunch break,

Charles McGuigan, chief deputy attorney general.
